Kelly Coffey-Meyer- 30 Minutes to Fitness: Kickboxing

Equipment needed: none, but I used 1.5 lb hand weights

Level: Intermediate

Bottom line: This creative workout is great for attention-deficit exercisers who want the combinations to change rapidly, but it’s just not challenging enough for higher-level exercisers and/or those with significant aerobic kickboxing experience.

Ilaria- Powerstrike 5

Level: Intermediate

Bottom line: this is a well cued, solid and low impact kickboxing routine featuring superb technique and instruction by Ilaria. While the level is intermediate, if enough power is put into the moves, it could be a decent workout for higher-level exercisers.

Bottom line: Amy’s energy is, as usual, inspiring, but poor choreography in this kicking-heavy kickboxing workout makes it downright dangerous.

Tae Bo- Ultimate Lower Body

Equipment needed: none required; I use 1.5 lb hand weights to increase difficulty

Level: Intermediate/advanced to advanced, depending on how you use the workout

Bottom line: although the fact that this is a compilation ends up highlighting the weaknesses of Tae Bo workouts, this difficult cardiovascular workout will work your lower body and core like no other!
